Breaking News. Barry Bonds Indicted For Perjury. Your Thoughts On This?
Nov 15, 2009 News Articles
I hope he goes to jail. He is an ***. I would have some sympathy for him if he acted like a human being. But the way he treats the reporters, teammates, fans, he can go to jail forever for all I care.

He should be treated just like Pete Rose…no Hall of Fame, rescind all his homers…he insulted Hank Aaron, then there’s the lying. What a waste of talent. Guess honesty is going by the wayside now too. One would think that with all the money Professional Baseball players make, they’re still not happy.Sure paints an ugly picture for all the young kids who still look at them as heros.

MLB has more right and more providence now to asterisk his records.

He deserves what he gets, he is a bum.

I believe that baseball turned a blind eye to that possibility and allowed him to soil the legacy of Hank Aaron and others. He is a perfect example of the stain that exists because we are so PC that we can’t call a crook a crook.

He deserves it every day in prison for perjury. That is the problem with these celebrities, they think they are special and untouchables because they have money.
Well, guess what? Having lots of money does not mean you are a decent person, that is why he thinks it is okay to lie in sworn testimony. He is example of the majority of the pro atheletes who think they are better than everybody, because they happen to get paid to play ball.
Hope he hates every day in prison. What an idiot.

GOOD!! take away all the homeruns he did over last say 8 years take them all away and Jail him!!! he gave HOPE a bad name!!!
November 16th, 2009 at 12:22 pm
I didn’t know, but it was obvious that he was lying.
November 16th, 2009 at 12:24 pm
Hmmm. So was Scooter Libby and they never indicted anyone for the underlying crime in that case. Sounds like they don’t have enough evidence to nail him for drug abuse. That is, I think a shame. If they had been able to indict him for the main crime, he would have had his day in court and we would have been able to wrap up this sorry matter one way or the other. Now there will be lingering doubts. People will remember that he was in court for “something to do with steroids” but will forget that it was not for actually taking them.

.If he lied he should be indited. It looks like enough people know he took steroids to expose him. They wouldn’t indicte him without evidence
November 16th, 2009 at 3:36 pm
well it looks like all the haters will be rejoicing today but i dont care. people act like Barry was the only person who took steroids. i guess the other players that cheated dont matter. they just hate Barry Bonds
November 16th, 2009 at 4:25 pm
Let the cards fall as they may! I think he may be guilty, but let’s wait and see.
November 16th, 2009 at 6:48 pm
i agree with the first guy…”throw him in jail” He’s an idiot and deserves it
November 16th, 2009 at 9:32 pm
can hardly wait till he is stripped of his MVP’s
November 17th, 2009 at 4:17 am
He’s not the first one to say “I unkowingly took a banned substance.” YET, he will be the only one persecuted and prosecuted for it.
I’m not defending Bonds, well yes I am - I support him, I just think it’s pretty hypocritical just to indict him only. Their key witness is Greg Anderson and he won’t talk so I seriously doubt they have any real dirt on him. I think it’s just a scare tactic to try and get him to confess. And we will see Barry in prison before he does that.
Barroid for President 2008!

one word YES! Meaning that i have such a hate for him, that it hurts my eyes when i see him, it burns me when he hits a homerun, i hate him! And he deserves this, and a jail sentence, now lets see who signs him!
November 17th, 2009 at 11:23 am
All I have to say is that it’s about time.
November 17th, 2009 at 12:05 pm
Not surprised at all. Were are all of the little Barry Bonds fan now?
November 17th, 2009 at 6:31 pm
I hope they are able to convict him. They will need to get the trial away from the Bay Area though. If the trial is in the Bay Area the jury would not convict him, since it would only take one person to say he didn’t do it for Bonds to get off. I’m happy that he is finally charged with something. He will probably plea out and never serve any time for what he has done. I don’t think it will end the way we all hope though. Wish the best for the prosecution. I’m already imagining Johnny Cochran and the rest of his dream team. Hopefully the government throws their best at Bonds.

This news is asteriskalicious!!!
November 17th, 2009 at 10:51 pm
throw him in Jail
November 17th, 2009 at 10:58 pm
He is a textbook prick jock. What an ego. He was on the juice and should be charged along with McGuire & Sosa.
November 18th, 2009 at 5:06 am
its about time.
November 18th, 2009 at 5:36 am
It’s just a sad story. I’ve tried to support Barry Bonds because he never failed a drug test but I’ve seen the pictures after the McGwire/Sosa summer and how big Barry had gotten.
The question is: How will Barry explain himself? Sorta like Marion Jones who wrote in her autobiography that she didn’t take steroids, how is Barry going to explain that he took steroids, that he knowingly took them and why? It’s just sad and hopefully when A-Rod gets close to the record, we’re not having the same conversation.

Find Osama Bin Laden first.

Strip the SOB of the home run record and banned him for life from the hall of fame.
Not only is Bonds a liar and a cheat, so is baseball. Bud Selig allowed this meaningless home run chase to go on while faithful baseball fans paid millions of dollars in outrageous ticket prices to watch this incredible fiasco take place.
Bonds must go to jail for his perjury. Bud Selig MUST resign as commissioner. Selig is a complete disgrace to baseball as well.
His home runs should not count!! Henry Aaron, in my opinion, is still the career home run champ and Roger Maris is still the single season home run champ.

woo hoo!
November 18th, 2009 at 9:10 pm
put him in Folsom Prison

November 19th, 2009 at 6:33 am
its about time. unfortunately it has to do with tax evasion, not steroid use but its only a matter of time.
